What We Believe…

We, the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) are a people of God, called together by our faith in Jesus Christ as part of the whole body of Christ as part of the whole body of Christ to worship, study, and serve.

We confess… That Christ is Lord, And in him is our hope and our peace. Bound by the spirit to Christ’s authority, we are thus free to stand in the lively joy of the grace of God.

Life and Mission Statement of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)

THE SACRAMENTS

The reformed tradition understands Baptism and the Lord’s Supper to be Sacraments, instituted by God and commended by Christ.  Sacraments are signs of the real presence and power of Christ in the Church, symbols of God’s action.  Through the Sacraments, God seals believers in redemption, renews their identity as the people of God, and marks them for service.
